What this calculator tells you
For the United Kingdom, WorthSpan calculates 2026/27 main-rate Income Tax for England, Wales and Northern Ireland, including the standard Personal Allowance and its taper above £100,000.
Employee and employer National Insurance use the standard Category A monthly thresholds and assume equal monthly pay across the year.
Scotland's separate tax bands, student loans, salary sacrifice, pension adjustments, special tax codes, benefits in kind and other personal adjustments are not included yet.
